Fender Japan Telecaster Deluxe

Telecaster Deluxe First Model

This is a re-creation of the USA made Telecaster Deluxe, which never really took off. The USA model launched in 1973 and was withdrawn in 1981 you can read about it on my CBS pages. Like the USA model the Japanese model didn't last very long and had modern releases later. The timeline here is
Seen in the 1986 catalogue as the TD75-65 until 1989
In the 1990 1991 catalogues it is the TD75-600
In then doesn't appear again for around 15 years or so.

Telecaster Deluxe TD74-LTD

Presumably the LTD means limited edition which would make sense as they don't seem to be in the catalogues of the time. They do however appear to have been made for a year or two from 2007 to 2010 approximately

*Could be others these are the ones I have seen
Radius I can't find any official documents so can't be sure on this but the only reference I have seen is by a seller who says it is 7.5" It seems unlikely but could be true.

The TD74-LTD the red one has had the selector switch moved.

Telecaster Deluxe TD-2H

The TD-2H was available from around 2010 to 2012 give or take a year either side. It is a little odd in that it has a Rosewood board. This is clear in the catalogue and in the pictures. However the archives say Maple board but I think this is wrong.
